Nadia Ali: What an incredible place! I absolutely loved every moment spent here, especially the fantastic food which was not only delicious but also organic! The atmosphere was enhanced by the amazing music, and the staff including Brgul, Ali, and Oktay were very welcoming and kind. Unfortunately, I had injured my ankle and i am in a splint, but the staff took such good care of me, providing an extra chair for me to comfortably relax and elevate my leg. I couldn't have asked for more and I'm already looking forward to returning with my friends. I highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a wonderful and memorable food experience.

Roll Paper: Это очень дорого.За двоих 440 лир турецкий завтрак, принесли яичницу из 1 яйца, два куска колбасы и кучу невнятных соусов.Соусы есть вкусные, но ребят за 440 лир покушать лепешку помазанную в соусах это очень дорого. Если есть на улице, то довольно большой поток людей, столы стоят прям на проходе. Ходят попрошайки, продавцы салфеток, это портит аппетит.За сервис взяли 50 лир. Какой сервис?!? Только они сами знают…Как итог 500 лир завтра на двоих за хлеб , 1 яйцо и несколько соусов

Karina Polyakova: Went here today and it doesn’t seem to be even close to Michelin’s level. We had salad with sea bass and avocado: too salty because of capers, too spicy because of mustard on the fish, too sour. And we also had Cuma burger with baby potato. The burger was dry and very small. It had mustard inside instead of sause. And potatoes were complemented with THE SAME mustard and ketchup. It was awful all in all. The most disappointing thing that the cost was more than 700 TL for THIS! What????!!!

Menemen war sehr lecker, das Brot sehr weich.Leider sind auch hier die Tische so eng beieinander, das ein Gast mit seinem hintern unser Brot umgeschmissen hat. Beim abräumen der Tische ist der Kellner auch nur 3cm vom eigenen Gesicht entfernt. Daran sollte gearbeitet werden. Vllt einen Tisch weniger dafür mehr Komfort für den Gast!

Travelling Gillespie: On one of the quieter streets so slightly away from the hustle and bustle hence gave it a lower atmosphere score, else the restaurant itself was great inside. The team were very attentive, but for me personally the prices didn’t justify the food or atleast the option I went for (turkey sandwich). Other options looked lovely like the avocado and egg. So perhaps depending on your choice it’s definitely more visually appealing. But is on the pricier side. Eg £10-£15 per person (300-450 lira per person).

I don't know if it was because the weather was hot, I think it got worse, then I got poisoned and had to go to the hospital. I think I got poisoned from the food I ate here, since I ate breakfast here around 11:30 and my poisoning occurred around 16:00 without eating anything else. I suggest you go for coffee.
BERK KAYTANCI: A very warm-blooded gentleman greets you at the first entrance. Its interior and balcony are very airy and pleasant. There is a view from every table. I recommend making a reservation to sit outside. The potato cheese omelette is delicious. The pancake does not drown in light sugar. The drinks are pretty good. Definitely a place to be recommended.

Alperen Ğ: Although there is a reservation system, the organization inside is not well done. You can be lifted from your seat. No prior information is given. The attitude of the person who organized the tables was not pleasant. We ate and had drinks for over an hour. Shortly after our second drink order came, someone else who was organizing the tables showed up and we were told that the place was reserved and we had to leave the table. I've never experienced such an event before.
Emre Betil: Even though it's 10 pm on weekdays, they didn't allow us to sit 3 people in the empty place for 4 people outside… they don't allow you to change tables after waiting inside. They probably think they're perfect, they set up such ridiculous rules. It was a disgraceful experience night after night. Thanks Mangeri!!

Josh Baltazar: For breakfast I wanted to get something near Galata Tower. There are tons of nice restaurants around here but the one I found was up the hill and had a nice view of the tower. Came here right at the opening, ordered Turkish coffee and Gozleme which is Turkish stuff flatbread. This one I got it with meat, mushrooms and cheese. Super super good, definitely could have eaten like 4 that morning. Really nice!

Shannon Zeimetz: This is the best restaurant we ate at while staying in the Galata neighborhood in Istanbul. For context: we spent the the previous day in the historic part of the city (by Blue Mosque and Galata bridge) and I was so disappointed by the vibe over there (restaurants were harassing everyone who walked by to come in and it felt like everything was an unpleasant tourist trap). But today dining at Cafe Privato in Galata neighborhood was exactly the Turkish restaurant experience I hoped for. I found it suggested on a travel blog, and am so glad I did—the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, the staff incredibly friendly, and the food excellent. We sat for hours on the outside patio (perfection) and dined and enjoyed Turkish tea. The authentic food was absolutely delicious. It is also on a smaller side street and not the more crowded streets, so you are able to truly relax and enjoy the feel of the small city streets without feeling overwhelmed. Then we walked around the neighborhood and popped into the local artisan shops that are all over the neighborhood, especially on the southwest side of the neighborhood along Kumbaraci Yks. (street). HIGHLY recommend Cafe Privato.

Stuart: Overall, this restaurant is expensive and serving very average food. I ordered the aubergine curry and my partner had the alinazik kebab. Both of them were distinctively average. My curry arrived congealed with a skin forming on the top, with some an unnecessary balsamic glaze beside it. My partner’s kebab was chewy and simply didn’t taste nice. Finally, the portions were rather small. This cost us around 1000 lira (~45 USD), which can get you an excellent meal elsewhere in Istanbul.The restaurant gets a star because of the nice location and welcoming waiters. However, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
